Become a Stronger Together Nonprofit Partner
This is an incredibly difficult time for us all – for ourselves and our families, our organizations, and for the clients we serve. Communities around the region, country, and world are mobilizing to deal with the unprecedented challenges created by the COVID-19 crisis, and our community is no different.
Members of our community have come together to conceptualize the Greater Attleboro Stronger Together Fund, a community fundraising effort to provide resources and relief, so that local nonprofits can provide critical emergency services, meals, and cash assistance to individuals and families in need through this crisis – and still remain financially viable organizations, ready to serve our community long after this crisis is over.
If you are a nonprofit organization serving the greater Attleboro area, we invite you to join with us as a partner to the Fund. Partnership will involve your organization and Board of Directors mobilizing to help fundraise shared dollars to the Fund over a 1-week period, beginning April 20th.
Partners to the Fund, in turn, will be eligible to apply for grants from the Fund for either or both of the following:
- Grant funds to provide cash assistance and basic provisions to individuals and families in need
- General operating grants to deal with revenue lost due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Grants will be reviewed by an independent panel of reviewers convened by the Fund’s planning committee, and will include representatives from the major funding partners to the Fund.
Please read the Greater Attleboro Stronger Together Partnership Agreement and, if necessary, review with the decision makers at your organization.
If you would like to participate and join us as a Nonprofit Partner to the Fund, please complete the online Partnership Application no later than 12 pm on Monday, April 15th.
Pending our ability to raise requisite funds, it is our hope that the Fund will begin disbursing grants by the last week in April.
